ANGELKIND

ANGELKIND is an encompassing term used for the choirs of Angels. Angels are pneumodependant Provident beings that exist in a slip beyond human visual comprehension. There are hierarchical layers to Angelkind, with a currently unknown amount of choirs working for the goals of a God.

Angelkind exists outside of the understanding of biology, lacking metabolism, growth, and reproduction. They are hard-theorized to be massless in form and exhibit properties found unique, but incomprehensibly follow some rules of objects composed of mass.

Angels are the lowest choir of Angelkind. They are described as curious and investigative figures

There is not very much individuality to be seen in these Angels. They have no inclination to lie, and have a hard time processing what deception could be. Deception is a foreign concept to them entirely, resulting in a natural trust amongst each other, and touch becoming a part of their language. They often hold hands, squeeze one another, engage in gestures that are typically intimate to humans, and rest in piles of two or more.

Angels do not visit Earth very often, and most have never been in contact with a human. They are very curious

As humans become more independent, it becomes more dangerous for Angels to visit Earth, explaining the declining witnesses of Angels.

Guardian Angels are Angels of the lowest choir that have been trained to carry out tasks on Earth. Their most typical tasks are providing protection, relaying messages to humans, and slaying or repelling abholy creations. They are not a separate choir of Angelkind.

Their mentors are solely one of the four Archangels. You can sometimes tell what Archangel an individual Guardian Angel had been trained by through their learned speech terms and mannerisms.

Contact with humankind is made from a distance, for mutual safety. Humans that come into contact with Angels can suffer greatly from psychological distress and broken philosophy, leading to social ostracization. Angels also do not feel any sense of personal space. Touch being a part of language to them sdgdgdfgesrfg. While they are naturally gentle handlers, they may not fully understand the strength they have over humans or other organic lifeforms.

The way a human observes an Angel’s form can vary depending on the individual. Some have reported seeing an Angel as a “horrifying” white blaze, whereas others (most often children) report them as healthy, softly-glowing figures. There seems to be a scale of variations in between these observations. Depending on the scale of horror an individual has witnessed, an Angels can singe the skin if touched. This could be an explanation for cases of “spontaneous human combustion.”

For these reasons Guardian Angels are taught to keep distance when contacting humans, only intervening when granted necessity by Archangels.

Archangels are the choir directly above the Angels. They are looked to as generals - passing along information to higher choirs, training and defending Angels, and giving orders. They are not far dissimilar to Angels and are treated as their peers.

The Archangels were created before the Angels, and were the only of the original lowest choir to remain after the War in the Firmament.

Angels tend to wander at night, knowing not to encounter humans.

However, Angels are very curious of Earth and are enamored by

As mankind progresses, Angels are seen less often on Earth for mutual safety.

Most Angels do not understand, or have the ability to

comprehend deceit. This highlights the flaws of interaction

between humans and Angelkind.

Many’s first encounters with Angels happen through their window.

A glow coming from behind the curtains, similar to the headlights of a passing car - except it’s persistent, and . It is hard to put into words what a human sees when they witness the presence of an Angel.

From an excerpt: “-It was like looking straight into a cloud that is light up by the sun. When I looked away, it’s silhouette was stamped to my eyes in flashes. When I looked back it’s shape was different.

Following the War in the Firmament, a large majority of Angel blood had been lost. This loss resulted in many of the Angels being deeply wounded emotionally, and unable to carry their tasks as usual. The Fall of Man had conjointly rendered the majority of their tasks useless, as directly serving humans would become a shelved idea. Due to this, the lowest choir had been melted down to be repurposed.

The “neo” Angels formed from the blood and fervor of the past choir were notably different - that being their emotional detachment from pain, natural swordsmanship, and their better suited temperaments to carry out tasks almost exclusively in the Firmament. Of course, later on a portion of these Angels would be eventually trained to become Guardian Angels.

“Demon” is an umbrella term used when referring to the fallen Angels, hellborn, and the various crafted abholy creations of Lucifer. Unlike Angels, they do have a motive to deceive.

Because of their loss of Providence, they deteriorate with time. Demons being pneumodependant, this creates a “desperate times call for desperate measures” rationale. Lifeforms composed of blood and fervor are the most desired targets of demons, most lucrative being: humans, Angels, and the extinct nephilim.

Most avoid and abscond from Angels, as they are Interestingly humans find them to be more easy to relate to than Angels.
